Protein-Packed Pudding

This protein-packed pudding will become your new go-to snack to keep you full and satisfied! Plus, it works like a broom to sweep the colon clean and will help soothe your digestive tract with all the healing spices.⁠
🍎 Apples are rich in calcium D-glucarate, allowing the body to excrete used hormones (such as estrogen) before they can be reabsorbed. ⁠
🌾 Flax is a good source of soluble fibre, which cleanses the colon and reduces cholesterol.⁠

Ingredients:
5 cups cubed unpeeled organic apples or pears ⁠
1/2 cup filtered water⁠ 💧⁠
2 Tbsp ground flax seeds ⁠
1 tsp ground ginger ⁠
1 tsp ground Ceylon cinnamon 🤎⁠
1/4 tsp ground turmeric⁠
2 Tbsp hemp hearts⁠
3 to 4 tbsp protein powder⁠
1 Tbsp organic lemon juice 🍋⁠
2 tsp pure vanilla extract⁠
Pinch sea salt⁠

Toppers:⁠
1 tsp coconut nectar or other sweetener of choice⁠
1/4 cup coconut milk 🥥⁠

Directions:

1. In a medium saucepan, bring the apples or pears and water to a boil, then cover and reduce the heat to a simmer for 15 minutes. Using a whisk or fork, mash the apples in the pot.⁠

2. Remove from the heat and stir in all the remaining ingredients. Add in the coconut milk and sweetener if desired. Serve warm.⁠
Makes 3 cups.
